Ashton Cricket Club was founded in 1857 and celebrated its 150th year anniversary in 2007!

The club operates two senior teams in the Central Lancashire League and four junior teams. The Under 13s and Under 15s are in the CLL, the Under 11s are in the Tameside League and the Under 17s in the Lancs County League.
